Wait to rush, Rush to wait
very short post before i book back into camp. got into sispec hotel quite a welfare company. sergeants are more understanding i guess. i've got good bunkmates and company as well. other than a very xiong pti and thus very very very xiong pt, i guess i'll survive the very short 8 weeks lol. 1/4 done already =D.

At least I know there exist someone...
Japan trip was omg fun. The culture is so different, everybody is smiling though stress level is higher cos of high living standards. And students there earn a whooping minimal wage of 13.50 bucks an hour while Singaporean students...
I learned some kan ji or nippon whatever in a wrong way from the dao you...

=D and the way to speak is damn cute haha. And most importantly i learned how to bargain in a country that doesnt allow bargaining wahahah. A simple few sentences and acting is sufficient hohoho lol. Just go around sumimase... ano... ikurai deskar? demo... ano... hohoho. maybe it works cos im student-age haha and japanese students earning 13.50 an hour are considered super poor cos even the poorest japanese guy earned 400k yen a month which is like 5.4k starting pay lol. well high living costs...
Went to Universal studios on the first day. The place is holy crowded. Went there not to wan you xi but to wan pai dui. In the end only played the spiderman ride which was damn dizzy cos it's 4-D fire wind water ice, +roller coaster, +3-D vision specs damn fun but queued for like 80minutes? lol... and japanese are damn frigging patient i see the roller coaster ride dreamride 120 minutes odd people still queueing up... wth. no life dao... ok so i was more no life watch sesame street with my brother... but at least there's elmo =p
And I'm so lucky cos it's school holiday season till april in Japan so all the students are there playing =p
The bullet train looks sleek. Actually it looks exactly like the toy train wadever brand it is. It's quite fast though despite it's railed on wheels not like the magnet train in China. And the seats are 1st class converted to air plane and they can be turned around spin spin spin.
Went to a few temples that were supposed to have tons of cherry blossoms blooming but thanks to El Nino, it's freezing in japan still like 5 to 15 degrees so only one pathetic plant bloomed out of so many days... So much for cherry blossoms, they just look like figs...
I managed to get a substitute for cherry blossoms though =D
Snowball fights in the mountains where waterfalls freeze upon touching the ground and the air is misty. Damn fun. Picturesque scenery while the coach tunnels through endless mountains and valleys travelling on 1-laned roads like 1500 metres above bodies of water...
DisneySea was the best. Less people haha. Many worlds. Shows were the best cos they spam fireworks like free. After every scene or act, POOOOOM cackles fireworks. lalala.
Food was damn zai in Japan. Sashimi boat owns. Especially Kobe beef omg. One small piece is like 100 bucks there, compared to Singapore of course much better liao. So our dao you told us the story of Kobe beef.
They drink Kirin beer as plain water for 8 months till they are slaughtered. So i went to drink as well =D the same very beer haha.
They get massaged daily morning noon night. I went for 3 hot springs =p Jaccuzi hot spring next to Fuji mountain. Can't take pictures though cos it's all nude haha.
They get to exercise every early morning. By means of exercise is walking on treadmills not frolicking about the meadows lol. I walked down and up Ginza many times cos the street only have Gucci Prada LV Burberry as well as the limited Blue label Salvatone Feragamo Armani Tiffani and Co. which are like so i cannot afford lor.
They get to eat wheat stalks instead of rubbish. And i get to eat them. It even comes with a birth cert.

POP!!!
Finally damn happy to be a private. There are so many great moments in there, the blasted tekong, despite being in the most xiong company ninja, but all becomes "echoes of memories" =D, and I passed out from the most xiong company with a bunch of great friends. Yeah... great friends who sabo each other on the last night right before POP. People waking up with whole blanket white with powder, their beds right outside the bunk at the corridor, field bag filled with combat rations, spectacles covered with toothpaste and camou and stuck in a web of black tapes on their beds BEAT 9 weeks of BMT. That night made BMT worthwhile lol.
Anyway POP was damn shitty in the rain but anyway all the rehearsals were in the rain so we were well-trained i guess. Then again, our OC is the only red barret so we will be constantly being scrutinized la our commanders say so suddenly nobody moved in a file and everyone execute everything perfectly -.- unlike the rehearsals. Then again, being able to bring in a camera owns everything else haha.

I'm still alive omg...
After field camp sit test fast marches at the pace of running, i'm alive!!! i calculated omg this week is one hell of a long week we "walked" about 45km in all WTF + there was SOC full run down right b4 book out. WAHAHAHAHA... -.-
luckily this coming week after wednesday is slack!!! knn sbj pulling me down. hope urban ops not so bad. soc test just pass it and 1 more week to POP! Xiang de mei haha. Although still have the dreaded 24k road march but the 16k was really slack. Marching with other companies really rock man otherwise we'll all just die again like we did on monday tuesday wednesday thursday friday... etc. 4k MARCH in 20 min imagine ... GAH!
Oblivion rocks. Undisputed game of the year man. Gotta prepare for book in gah. And ninja nite :D

Field Camp
RAwr. I survived! Objective completed lol. Not bathing for so many days and finally taking a bath rocks. And because of the 2pid stay alert thing i only slept for 1 hour wtf... can die one lar. The food not as bad cos there was a lot of food and i finished all of them even help my buddies finish =D. 2pid camou cultivating lots of pimple spots now and another field camp coming up in 3 days time like wth... haiz.
Cos of the field camp cannot go for class cny party lar. Sian. sian sian sian. Well at least i'm still alive. I've accomplished all the veto factors!!! so theoretically i could just pon the remaining 4 weeks of BMT and fail IPPT and still pass BMT overall WAHAHAHAHA. CHAO KENG here I come. Nin!jaa rocks

High on carbs
Been eating really too much. Way way too much. Now without nightsnacks, gnawing on even more oreo and ovaltine biscuits, extra portions of every dish, finished like 2 boxes of chinese new year goodies just, and never-before whipping appetite of like 2-3 bowls of rice at home... fat. I'll be overweight in 2 weeks if this keeps up gah. Army really makes people fat.
2nd bookout and visit to SDC which was really waste of time taking the coach from pasir ris to jurong like took forever. Every inch of my body aching, from ankle to shin to calf to knee to thigh to head... oww.
Army life is like total seclusion. Isolated from the rest of the world, oblivious beings we recruits are, 50 of us living on one set of TODAY newspaper to catch up with the times. Kamikaze birds and never ending settling heaps of dust, no wonder everybody's getting the tekong cough. Status people as many as those non-status. Just imagine the platoon line-up. gg.
I think this time i really want it.

Eating spree
BWAHAHAHAH. Getting army pay rocks. i ate everything that marche has in one go lol. Salad, fillet, rosti, pasta, bread, soup, pork knuckle that owns, 2 scone ice cream bleah. im gonna grow damn fat real soon man imagine i could spend 100bucks on food every weekend WAHAHAHAH. *burp.
platoon dota owns lol. Everybody's nick is like N3*** blah blah lol. And all their dota damn pro. Blardy no lifers. Can be done, think ar think...
